The Nerd Lab will be a place for answers to common, and not-so-common, questions concerning computers, the Internet, the blinking 12:00 on your VCR, and other knowledge typically sought from your closest nerd.
It will be aimed at the average home user, and will tackle such topics as:
- The differences between malware, e.g. adware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc.
- Ways to avoid--or at least deal with--spam.
The Nerd Lab will not be intended as a resource for highly technical information, but a reference for the average home computer user. You will most likely not find articles concerning:
- Rocket science.
- Particle physics.
- Moon shots for the do-it-yourselfer.
- Setting the clock on your VCR.
By the way, does anybody still have a VCR...?
